Museo Piaggio
Il Museo è nato per conservare e valorizzare la memoria storica dell’impresa. Si pone l’obiettivo di ricostruire le vicende di Piaggio e del suo Territorio e di ripercorrere un lungo periodo di storia italiana, fatto di trasformazioni economiche, di costume e di sviluppo industriale, narrato attraverso l’esposizione dei prodotti più famosi e rappresentativi dell’azienda e attraverso i documenti e le immagini del suo ricchissimo Archivio Storico. Le sue sale accolgono le collezioni Vespa (dai primi prototipi alle Vespa di serie attualmente in commercio) e Gilera (dalla moto VT 317 del 1909 alla RC600 Parigi-Dakar del 1991), accanto ai più significativi prodotti di Piaggio (i motori aeronautici degli anni Trenta, un esemplare di motrice ferroviaria MC2 de 54 del 1936, l’aereo P148 del 1951, l’Ape, il Pentarò, il Ciao e gli altri ciclomotori Piaggio).
