From Luciano Pavarotti to Massimo Bottura: two famous personalities from Modena who chose Maserati cars for themselves.
Two words: Luciano Pavarotti. Everyone knows the Modenese tenor known throughout the world. The connection between the Master and the Trident goes back to 1963, when he bought a Maserati Sebring. This bond is still alive thanks to Nicoletta Mantovani, Pavarotti's wife, who through the Fondazione Pavarotti is dedicated to seeking and training new talents.
A meeting was organized with the international automotive press at the Master’s home in 2010. Furthermore, Maserati was the official car for the commemorative concert “Luciano’s Friends”, held in Modena on the 6th September 2012.
In recent times, another Modenese citizen has created a furore on the international scene: chef Massimo Bottura, whose Modena restaurant named “Osteria Francescana” has been classified as the best in the world. Unlike his colleagues Bastianich and Ramsay, Chef Bottura has chosen to purchase a Maserati car.
